Return Policy
Note that we are a handcrafted jewelry company and our jewelry is "made to order", so once your order is placed, we do not accept cancellations*.
*Cancellations: Cancellations are subject up to a 15% fee to cover the cost of handling the order from the time the order is received and is at our discretion as to the amount of such fee. Labor and material costs exist and originate from the time you place an order on this site. Please contact us to discuss your particular situation before requesting to cancel.
If you are not satisfied with your order, we ask that you contact us within 7 days of receipt at sales@sureshotjewelry.com to discuss your particular situation. If we decide to offer a return or exchange or partial refund option, we will give you instructions for your particular situation, this includes details on whether we will be replacing the item, how much the partial refund will be, whether we are refunding you in full or if we are charging you a restocking fee. You will be informed of all details pertaining to your particular situation and how we will handle the situation for you. In addition, in our sole discretion, and after discussing your issue, if we do decide to accept a return only, we may charge a restocking fee. You will be refunded the remainder after the deduction of that restocking fee (normally 30% of the retail price of the item) and the deduction of the shipping cost. This remainder will be refunded to the original form of payment. This refund will not be processed until we receive the item(s) back, and inspected it/them to ensure it/they is/are in the same condition as when shipped to you, without alteration, defects, damage or changes of any kind, within 15 days of receipt. Alternatively, if we decide to grant an exchange, we require that the item for exchange be returned to us within 10 days of our decision. The shipping to return the item for exchange will be at your expense and you are welcome to use any method of shipping, although we recommend the item(s) be returned in their original packaging, padded envelope or box and sent via a traceable carrier such as UPS or USPS. We are not responsible for loss, damage, theft or mis-delivery of your returns/exchanges. You assume all responsibility for the security, condition, shipping and handling of the returned and/or exchanges item(s). You are responsible for shipping and handling fees for any items where exchanges have been granted. Unless the order is damaged in shipping or was just incorrect, shipping costs are non-refundable whether it be an exchange or return. We will notify you when we receive your item(s) within 7 days of receipt in our studio. If we grant an exchange and we do not receive your exchange back within 10 days of our decision, we will consider the matter closed and any agreement made by us to you will be null and void and any attempt to chargeback for any reason will be considered fraudulent and our communications with you will be turned over to our bank along with all additional evidence to show that we offered such return or exchange and that you failed to perform.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY REFUND OR EXCHANGE FOR ANY REASON.
In addition to the above information, note that we require you to include a Return Authorization Number for all returns and exchanges that are granted by us. If we grant a return or exchange, we will give you an RAN and it is your responsibility to include this number when sending your item or items back to us for return or exchange. Failure to include this will render your package as "non-returnable" and will not be processed, and will be returned to sender and any agreed upon return or exchange will be null and void.
Note again that original shipping charges will not be refunded for any return or exchange and authorized returns by us may be accompanied by a restocking fee. Because we generally do not accept returns or even have returns or our handcrafted jewelry, these requests are taken individually and based on their individual circumstances. We're sorry, but we do not accept earrings for return or exchange nor do we accept customized jewelry back. Metal cuffs and belt buckles are also non-returnable.
Damaged items that occurred in shipment to you need to be photographed and sent to us via email to sales@sureshotjewelry.com for review and consideration. If we agree that your items were in fact damaged in shipment, we will replace them at no additional charge, but you must report and submit photos within 7 days from date of delivery to be eligible for possible replacement. We reserve the right to refuse any return with signs of tampering, excessive wear and tear or modifications. In the case of stud and lever back bullet earrings, due to our method of processing casings, our constant change of inventory due to the high volume of casings we process and the many brands we may have at any given time, we cannot guarantee any matches to lost earrings, therefore we suggest that you purchase a new pair.
Gift Certificates (SureShot Bucks) and Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned.
CAN I RETURN SOMETHING PURCHASED WITH SURESHOT BUCKS?
Yes. Please follow the instructions above for returns and we will email your refund in the form of a website coupon code. You will receive the price paid at time of purchase in the case of sale items.
CAN I RETURN A GIFT I RECEIVED?
If you need to return a gift for any reason, please contact us for assistance. We will ask you for the name and/or email address of the gift giver. If the item is returned within 7 days of original delivery date we will process an exchange or issue you a website credit to use towards a future order. Please note, we are only able to process returns and exchanges for gifts purchased at sureshotjewelry.com. Jewelry that was on sale at time of purchase or a clearance item are not eligible for any returns.
HOW DO I PACKAGE MY RETURN?
To prepare your items for return, please package the jewelry in the original packaging (including jewelry pouch, if applicable). If you do not have the original jewelry gift box, please use a similar, secure box, and make sure to use a bubble mailer to in turn, ship the return. Be sure to include a copy of the invoice or gift receipt as well as the best way to contact you if we have any questions regarding the return. For your assurance, we highly recommend using a trackable carrier to send your return package. SureShot Jewelry is not responsible for loss, theft, damaged or misdelivered packages.
