Upcycled 1957 Archery Medal Convertible Necklace - Wear it Long or Short!
WHAT A FIND!
We acquired not one, but two of these rare, hard to find collectible archery medals dated 1957. They have such great detail, embellished with enamel emblems at the top in green with an archer and at the bottom with a stag deer head in black and white.
The back of each medal has engraving indicating for what each medal was awarded. We have one for 1957 Ladies Field and 1957 Men's Free Style. The fronts of both medals are identical.
Ribbons have been removed (see last photo) and they've been transformed into convertible, stylish necklaces that can be worn long or short.
Chain is the popular paperclip link style chain in antique silver. Closure is by a stainless steel textured toggle clasp.
When doubled, the necklace is 18" and when the chain is separated, you can wear this as a long pendant at ~35" long, which makes this a versatile piece of jewelry that is excellent for layering! See last photo!
Very collectible but perfect for the lady that bow hunts and is an archery maven!
